Sustainability
Our goal is to be as sustainable, ethical, and transparent in our practices as possible. Our processes are constantly evolving as we learn and grow.
Design
We design intentionally, not seasonally.
Materials
We use recycled metals and lead-free "eco brass" to manufacture our jewelry. Our metals are supplied locally by US-based refineries that are certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) or Scientific Global Services (SCS).
All metals we use for casting are lead-, cadmium-, and nickel-free. All ear posts are sterling silver.
Our gold plating is high above industry standards to ensure each piece lasts.
Production
All of our jewelry is designed in Seattle, and made in small batches locally in the USA, either in Seattle or Los Angeles, using the lost wax casting method and/or handmade fabrication.
Packaging
All shipping materials are made in the USA with post-consumer and post-industrial recycled material, and is recyclable, compostable, and/or reusable.
Our jewelry boxes and earring cards are made in the USA with 100% recycled material, and are reusable or recyclable. The poly-fill padding within each jewelry box is made partially with recycled material. We're working on finding natural fiber padding to replace the poly-fill padding. The boxes and padding are reusable. We encourage you to reuse these to store and protect your jewelry for its lifetime.
Our microfiber jewelry pouches are currently made overseas and we're actively searching for a local manufacturer to work with in the future. The pouches are intended to be reused - they should be kept to store and protect your jewelry for its lifetime.
